REGULATIONS

Drones are a new phenomenon in Ethiopia with very little regulation governing the sector. They are however becoming more common during events like sports events and public gatherings. Most of these drones are owned by media or TV stations.

There is no registration procedure or formal training required. It may be that as the sector and public awareness grows, more regulations will be put into place.
